Meet Moppy! Costing less than a dollar with priceless allure to Peanuts... |
Brought to you by our local grocery shop. I'm fund of making toys for peanuts. One of the first thing we played together was an old shoelace. And it never loses its appeal to her.
The Story of our first toy ( which isn't Moppy)
To make playtime more fun, at one end of the shoelace, I tied a plastic cup that makes sounds when being pulled. She grew obsessed with that plastic cup the moment she had her sights on it (which isn't exactly something good), so I incorporated it in our playtime rather than having her chase it endlessly.

Peanuts Mural. Here she is looking up momentarily to have her picture taken. It looked a whole lot worst when I took it. |
You can spend thousands on fancy toys, but in the end all they want is a bit of string with a knot in the end ... oh and a box to hide in! lolol
ReplyDeleteTrue true true. And we even forget the paper. OH MY GOSH, THE PAPER!!!
DeleteAll they want is to tear it apart and chew it all up.
Wow... that toy looks extremely chewable. I'm already imagining playing with it in my head. ^^ Have fun with that toy, Peanuts!
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty because of the colors. And she just loves it when I hang it up and she goes tugging it over and over again even when I'm gone.
DeleteI keep the toy a little later so that she gets to miss it.
My dogs love mineral water bottles but it makes too much noise and Wawa thinks plastic is edible. Thank you for visiting my blog and yes, we're all Chinese! Haopee sounds Chinese...? That is a lovely mural and Peanuts is very cute...^_^
ReplyDeleteYes we can find toys to play with everywhere - squashed plastic plant pots, old socks, cardboard tubes - all free fun. But we won't say no if our humans want to buy us toys too :-) love from Magic xx
ReplyDeleteHave you ever experienced not wanting to play with any of them. My older dogs don't like playing with toys. They only like lazing off.
DeleteOur dogs love to play with just about everything, Ziggy's latest mis-adventure was chewing through the laptop power cord, Cell charger cord! Brando loves all his stuffed animals!! Never enough toys!! Just hopped bye to say Hi!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Not the cords! When Peanuts does that I always say "PSST! NO" or "Peanuts, no!" and she stops.
DeleteHi, you two. Your Terminator Set Adventure was funny.
What a cool toy!
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
It's cool and it didn't even cost us a dollar. ^_^
DeleteWhat's your favorite toy?
Now THATS a toy! We lot empty plastic bottles...and my mums feather duster (much to her dismay!)

Those plastic bottles can be an object of obsession. They make great noise makers.
DeleteHaha, I bet those feather dusters look like chicken to you guys.
Now there's a cool and colorful toy for Peanuts. It sure looks like she likes it too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
She loves it. And it keeps her from biting something else... like her most recent favorite chew toy... COAL- not my dog coal but CHARCOAL.
DeleteThat looks like a toy my guys would enjoy. So many bits to pull off. :D
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. That's why I told my self I got to have one... It's supposed to be a replacement for your mop. Good thing the stitch work on it was pretty good. Not bad for a a dollar, right?
DeleteWe have nominate you for an award on our blog!

Pps!
ReplyDeleteWe have finally made Mum figure out the followers thing!
Thanks for the help :)
That's awesome, you three. First of all, I'm glad your mom got a hang to get that followers thing. I didn't know how to use feed burner anyway. And I don't use Google Reader either.
DeleteThanks for the Award! I'll get to it right away.
P.S. I've given you an award

Yes, I see.
DeleteThanks Nola. And congratulations on your awards as well.
The cheap ones are always the ones they love the most!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great, colourful, new toy Peanuts has got!! (See, who says us Dogs are colour blind - Tee Hee!!)
ReplyDeleteI get lots of homemade toys too, like the roll from the paper towel that I can shred, then Mum tidies up, used plastic drink bottles I can unscrew the top off - and also soft toys the kids are done with!! As you guessed, I've now got quite a stash of very inexpensive, cool toys!!
Have fun guys,
Your pal Snoopy :)
How fun to make creative toys for your pups.
ReplyDeleteMy mom person wants to say thank you for all of your well wishes. She is doing much better now.
