Today's a Monday and I am unfortunately out of words due to the earthquake that had just occurred a little while ago. It was of a 6.9 magnitude from its point of origin, which totally shook up the entire house.
What made it weird was that all dogs, even Peanuts, did not bark or react before and during the earthquake. Odd right?
In the mean time, please enjoy this Brother Dog airtime as requested.

Here comes the smoulder. |
Hope everybuddy alright with that magnitude of earthquake!
ReplyDeleteBowie
Hey Bowie, thanks for your concern. Yes, we are fine. Peanuts ran all the way back and forth from my room to my mom's room.
DeleteHope you and your family are all okay after the earthquake... Glad your dogs seem un-rattled!
ReplyDeleteIt's actually odd. I thought they'd panic. With the 6.9 intensity, they didn't budge. But last night, the 6.2 one had them barking.
DeleteThat's quite a magnitude of an earthquake. Hope there wasn't any damage to your property and that everyone's doing fine.
ReplyDeleteI did check and so far so good. No cracks here or there. Thanks for your concern.
DeleteThat sounds scary - glad you're all OK. Maybe the dogs felt safe with you :-) Great smoulder brother dog - Woofs and licks from Magic xx
ReplyDeleteI hope that's the reason. Our house is a little elevated from the groun so maybe they didn't feel it instantly.
DeleteOh gosh, how scary. Hope everyone is ok.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
We are Pip. Thanks. Hope your assistant won't forget your stuff when she purchases pet food... next time ^_^
DeleteIt sounds scary but nothing too bad happened right! Hope everything stays a little more stable.
ReplyDeleteYes, all is well but we're still expecting aftershocks for the next 2 weeks.
DeleteLet's just hope it doesn't get worst than the 6.9 one.
Sounds scary! Is everyone ok?
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola and the Mommy
Yes, we're alright. Sorry I haven't done much of my promise to you. I'll get back on it as soon as possible.
DeleteGeez! I hope you and your family are all okay!
ReplyDeleteThank you. We are doing okay. A little shaky. But are luckier compared to the ones who were near the site of impact.
DeleteOh dear, I hope everyone was ok, sounds scary!
ReplyDeleteLove the BD smoulder ;)
Slobbers
xxx
Thanks. We are okay.
DeleteHaha. The smoulder was paparazzi expensive. I had to approach him sleuth mode.
We heard about that earthquake. Hope you are all OK. We have our paws crossed for all affected by the damage.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Thank you. We are also having our paws crossed that everybody affected can recover from this calamity. I am thankful the damage was minimal.
DeleteWhen I saw the news I did wonder if you were affected! I 'm glad you are all safe xox
ReplyDeleteYes, we were miles away from the point of origin but we really felt the entire house tremble. Peanuts just ran back and forth from my room to my mom's room.
DeleteHope you werent too scared, Hugs♥
ReplyDeleteWe were. I didn't want to sleep the entire night because there had been a 6.2 earthquake in the evening.
DeleteHope all are OK and there are no aftershocks! Sending White Dog energy to keep you safe.
ReplyDeleteAwww. That's sweet. Thank you WDA. We are safe. And there were aftershocks. Ever since yesterday, 900 aftershocks were noted by the Department of Science and Technology.
Deletei hope you guys are ok!
ReplyDeleteChewy
We hope you are all ok.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear & Sierra
Thanks Mr. Bear and Sierra. We are fine.
DeleteHi Guys,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had a big earthquake, glad you're all doing ok, maybe that's why I couldn't access your site a few times?
We get earthquakes here too, but luckily only small ones right now :)
Stay safe my friends,
Your pal Snoopy :)
Hey Snoops. It could be the reason. We did have intermittent internet connection a couple of days ago. Thank you for your concern.
DeleteOh man, that sounds scary. Hope everyone is ok. NIce to meet you!!

Jazzi and Addy
Hi Jazzy and Addy. Yes it was. We are now seeing the new cats in the neighborhood.
DeleteI am so glad that all are okay. Those earthquakes are freaky.
ReplyDeleteIt was scary but the odd part was the dogs didn't even budge during the 6.9 magnitude occurrence.
DeleteOh my dog - is everyone okay??
ReplyDeleteStewey
Yes, we are. But others are not as fortunate as we are.
DeleteWow that is shocking. I would have barked my head off. Hope everyone is OK.

I hope you and your family are all okay! I've been through the smaller ones, 3.0's, but not one of that magnitude. When people ask me how it felt, even the small ones I experienced felt scary. It's hard to explain to people who haven't experienced one, but to me it felt like you could literally feel the plates shifting beneath you. In your country, are the buildings built with certain building codes like in Japan. Because, when I lived in Japan it was the one thing that made me feel safer when going through an earthquake or typhoon. All these buildings were tough, reinforced with steel beams, all made to withstand such disasters.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I've seen on Nat Geo how strict Japan is with their infrastructures. That tsunami incident would've made more damage if it weren't for their solid building structures.
DeleteIt was pretty scary. Our house is elevated from the ground so when the earth shook, it really trembled.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's sure is nice to meet new friends.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you all are ok.
Nice meeting you too. Thanks for returning the favor.
